Happy Monday to you!
It's going to be a good week for House by Hoff!
I have exciting news coming (very) soon!
I want to share a recent Goodwill find with you today. I found this beautiful frame for $1.50. The lady standing next to me loved it too and even asked to hold it?!? I indulged her, but was sure to peel it out of her grip and head for the checkout. Hey, all's fair with love and war...and thrifting.
I had a lot of ideas. I knew I wanted to use this as a tray, not a frame. I almost painted the glass with some chalkboard paint, but then I had a different thought...scrapbook paper!!!
And here I'd like to share with you (are you hearing the drum roll?)...One Goodwill Tray Three Different Ways!
Cute! I call this one the "Coffee Tray".
I like to call this one the "Girls' Night" tray. I can just see my sister, my bf (you know who you are), and I watching the Bachelor while sipping some wine off of this tray.
Haaahahahaha! This one is called the "Spoiled Baby" tray. It cracks me up! I can just see myself waltzing into Miss L's room after a nap with this in my hands. I think know she would love it.
I got the "Coffee Tray" and "Girls' Night" Tray scrapbook paper at Michael's. The "Spoiled Baby" tray paper is from Hobby Lobby.
Have a good day! :)

I grew up with these frames. My grandmother had several. What a great idea.
ReplyDeleteThose are really cute especially that chevron one!
ReplyDeleteToo cute! I love these types of frames! Also - loving no painting, just scrapbook paper!

Simple and colourful. I like the chevron the best.
ReplyDeleteI never would have thought about turning a frame into a tray. It certainly makes a better tray than picture frame. Clever work!
ReplyDeleteGreat Job April! Love it! :)

Thanks, girls! The chevron was my favorite too...especially because there is wine on the tray...HA! :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful idea! I love your presentation too! Thank to you, I want to go thrifting NOW!
ReplyDeleteThose are awesome! I can never find awesome frames like that but I need to keep looking. The chalkboard paint sounds like a good idea too. How did you change them out so easily and attach the scrapbook paper?
ReplyDeleteSince it was a frame, it had a glass top. I simply cut out the scrapbook paper and stuck it under the glass, just like you would change a picture out if you were using it as a frame...make sense? :)
DeleteVery simple and pretty! I just started a new link party and would love for you to come over and share your post or any social media sites. Talkin’ About Thursday - http://designeddecor.com/talkin-about-thursday-link-party6/
